I'm incredibly passionate about sneakers, and I find immense joy in channeling my creativity by customizing existing footwear in my spare time. My shoe customization endeavors draw inspiration from renowned American designers such as Virgil Abloh and celebrated artists like Travis Scott. Allow me to share with you a glimpse of the exciting projects I've worked on.
There are additional steps beyond what I've listed here, but I'll outline some of the key ones.
Step 1: I swapped out the original Nike swoosh on the shoe for a custom one I handcrafted. Using leather pieces I salvaged from my old backpack, I sewed the new swoosh in place and secured it with some glue to ensure it stays put.
Step 2: Using Angelus paint, I changed the shoe's color from white to yellow. Then, I applied stenciled text to the midsole and the back of the shoe. Lastly, I switched out the original white shoelaces for vibrant orange and blue ones.
