7 Uppercuts stands out as one of my absolute favorite Vietnamese punk rock bands. Their debut album, 'Summer Jam,' has a special place in my heart, and it's what drove me to embark on this project. After immersing myself in their music for hours, I felt a strong urge to take action, leading me to the decision to redesign the album cover.
The challenge here is to listen and watch their music videos, absorbing the dynamic, playful, and crazy essence of their pop-punk music, and then channel that energy into the visual elements of the album cover using typography and illustrations.
What makes this project even more special is that their band commented on my Instagram post about the redesigned album version, expressing their love for it.
